Day 2 – Friday: Historic London & River

9:00 AM

From Russell Square Station:

  • Piccadilly Line to King's Cross St Pancras
  • Change to the Circle Line or District Line
  • Get off at Tower Hill

Travel time: 20–25 minutes

9:45 AM – Tower of London

  • Spend 2–3 hours.

12:30 PM – Tower Bridge

  • Walk across one of London's most famous bridges.

Lunch

Have lunch at St Katharine Docks or nearby.

2:00 PM – Walk along the Thames

Continue to:

  • Hay's Galleria
  • Borough Market (great food)
  • Southwark Cathedral

4:00 PM – St Paul's Cathedral

Cross the Millennium Bridge to reach the cathedral.

Evening

Return to Russell Square via St Paul's Underground Station (Central Line):

  • Central Line to Holborn
  • Change to the Piccadilly Line to Russell Square
