How to restart or shutdown mac
Ctr + Power/Eject
Pop up window will come will ask you restart, shutdown, sleep , Cancel & restart
Choose either one or else it will shutdown after few minutes.
The below command restart mac with out asking a message.
Ctr + Command+Eject/Power button is the most reliable way to restart a Mac because it doesn’t rely on the Mac OS X operating system.
